Domes Pharma blocks for Elementor

A practical guide to the 36 blocks the plugin adds to the Elementor editor: what each one does, what it looks like in every variant, and which setting to reach for.

Every screenshot in this guide is a real capture of the blocks rendering on the site — not a mockup.

What these blocks are

The plugin adds its own category to the Elementor widget panel, named Dômes Pharma. Blocks in that category do things ordinary Elementor widgets cannot:

Rule of thumb. If a Domes Pharma block exists for what you are building, use it rather than assembling the same thing from generic Elementor widgets. You get the filtering, the responsive behaviour and the brand styling for free — and the page keeps working when the brand or the product data changes.

The home page, assembled entirely from Domes Pharma blocks
A whole page built from these blocks: slider, areas-of-expertise bar, info cards, new arrivals and a media banner — each documented below.

Adding a block to a page

  1. Open the page and click Edit with Elementor.
  2. Click the grid icon at the top left of the panel to show the widget list.
  3. Scroll to the Dômes Pharma category, or type DP in the search box — every block in the set is named DP – ….
  4. Drag the block into the page, or into an existing section.
  5. Fill in the Content tab on the left. The preview updates as you type.
  6. Click Publish (or Update).

Most blocks are full-width by design. Drop them into a section with a single column. Putting a catalog or a slider inside a narrow column fights the block's own responsive grid.

Content, Style, Advanced

Every block has the same three tabs. What belongs in each one:

TabWhat it holdsHow often you need it
Content Everything that makes the block say something: text, images, links, which design variant to use, which products or categories to show, and the wording of every button and label. Always. This is the tab you work in.
Style Colours, spacing, corner radii, typography. Every field here is already filled from the brand settings — leaving them empty is the correct default. Rarely. Only to override the brand on one specific block.
Advanced Elementor's own margin/padding, CSS classes, responsive visibility, motion effects. Occasionally, mostly for spacing and for the background classes below.

Do not paste hex colours into the Style tab as a matter of routine. A colour typed by hand is frozen: when the brand colour changes, every block where it was typed keeps the old colour, and you have to hunt them down page by page. Leave the field empty and the block follows the brand.

Sections and backgrounds

To give a section a background that follows the brand, add a CSS class in Elementor → Advanced → CSS Classes and leave the section's own background colour empty:

ClassBackground
dp-zone-softLight tint of the primary colour — the most common section background
dp-zone-soft-altLight tint of the secondary colour
dp-zone-greyVery light grey
dp-zone-whiteWhite
dp-zone-gradientBrand gradient — put light-text blocks on it

The class only applies if the section's background colour field is empty. A colour actually chosen in Elementor wins over the class.

The brand colours are also available in every Elementor colour picker, under the Global group, prefixed with DP –.

A note on field labels

Some of the newer blocks — Categories, Slider, Key figures, Media banner, Quick links, Home hero, Range showcase, Pebbles — still show French field labels in the Elementor panel, because their translations have not been written yet. The labels in this guide are quoted exactly as they appear on screen, French or English, so you can find them. What visitors see on the page is always the text you type.

Building a product page

A product page is a WordPress Product record (menu Products) laid out in Elementor with four blocks, in this order. Each one reads the product record, so most fields fill themselves.

  1. Create the product in Products → Add new: title, short description, featured image (the pack shot), and the Range, Solutions and Species taxonomies. This is the data every block reuses.
  2. Edit with Elementor and add DP – Product sheet — the card at the top with the pack shot, the claim and the key information.
  3. Add DP – Order Now underneath it, so the buying path sits immediately under the product identity.
  4. Add DP – Product details — the tabbed block holding indications, directions, composition, documents.
  5. In a second section, add DP – Related products.

Do not retype the product name, the pack shot or the range. The Product sheet block reads them from the product record. If you type them into the block instead, the page stops following the product and you end up with two sources of truth.

DP – Product sheet

dp_product_spotlight

The identity card at the top of a product page: breadcrumbs, claim, pack shot, active ingredient, key information, species badges and range logo.

What fills itself

Four switches, all on by default, make the block follow the product record instead of the block's own fields:

SwitchWhat it pulls in
Gamme automatique
auto_brand_name
The range chosen on the product. Turn it off to pick a range by hand in Range name.
Logo de gamme automatique
auto_range_logo
The logo saved on the range, shown top right. Off, you upload one in Logo de gamme.
Product image
auto_product_image
The product's featured image. Off, you choose another image.
Automatic breadcrumbs
auto_breadcrumbs
Home → Products → range → this product. Off, you type each entry by hand.

What you type

FieldUseDefault
Badge eyebrowThe small tag above the title — a claim, a format, a status.Product tagline
Product titleShown instead of the record title if you need a display name.Product name
Short descriptionTwo lines under the title. Keep it to one sentence.
Active ingredient label / Active ingredientRendered as one line, e.g. Active: cross-linked hyaluronic acid.Active:
Key information highlightsRepeater of one-line bullets. Three to five reads best.
Animal logo animal_logosOne or more species from the Species taxonomy; shown as icon badges.
Box contents label / Box contentsWhat is inside the pack — e.g. 1 × 10 mL bottle.Box contents:
Logo secondaire (haut gauche)A second logo opposite the range logo — a technology mark, a certification.

Species badges are not automatic. Unlike the range, the species shown on the card come from the block's Animal logo field. Setting the species on the product record drives the catalog filters, not this badge row — remember to fill both.

DP – Order Now

dp_order_now

A single Order now button that opens a two-step modal: first who the visitor is, then the right list of sellers for them. Pet owners are sent to retail partners, veterinary professionals to authorized distributors.

Order now button with an “also available in” banner
At rest: the button, and above it the Also available in banner linking the other pack sizes of the same product.

Filling the seller lists

Each row of Revendeurs (pet owners) and Distributeurs (veterinary) has a Source:

SourceWhat you fill in
Distributeur enregistré Pick a distributor from the central registry (Products → Distributors). Its name and logo come with it. You only paste Lien du produit — the URL of this product on that distributor's site, since the reference changes from one pack size to the next. Left empty, the distributor's default URL is used.
Saisie libre A one-off seller: you type the name, upload the logo and paste the link yourself.

Register a distributor once. Adding it to Products → Distributors means its name, logo, audience and default URL are entered a single time and reused on all eleven product pages. Changing the logo there changes it everywhere.

Other settings worth knowing

Note (per seller)Shown under the name. A seller with no link becomes non-clickable — use it for "call to order".
Mention affichée sous la listeLegal line under the owner list, e.g. Requires a prescription through a veterinarian.

DP – Product details

dp_product_details

The Columns layout: dosage and precautions side by side.

Items go one per line. The Items (one per line) and Column content fields are plain textareas: press Enter between entries, do not add dashes or bullet characters — the block draws them.

Column widths. Leave Largeur (%) empty (or 0) on a column and the remaining space is shared automatically between the columns that have no width. Set a width on one column only when it genuinely needs to be narrower or wider than its neighbours.

dp_related_products

The row of product cards that closes a product page.

DP – Product catalog (filters on the left)

dp_product_catalog

The full catalog page: a column of filters on the left, a search box, a live result count, and a grid of product cards. All filtering happens in the browser — no page reload.

The Products page with facets on the left

DP – Product grid

dp_product_grid

The older catalog layout: dropdown filters across the top rather than a facet column. Use it when you want a compact product list inside a page that already has a lot going on.

Catalog or grid? Use Product catalog for the main Products page and for range pages: the facet column scales to a real catalog. Keep Product grid for a short, embedded list.

DP – New arrivals

dp_new_arrivals

A row of product cards for a home page or a landing page — the newest products, or a hand-picked selection.

The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

The header — title, heading level and the See all of our products link — has its own switches, so the block can be used without any header when it follows a section title.

DP – Categories

dp_categories

A grid of categories — ranges, solutions or species — in nine designs. The block normally fills itself from a taxonomy, so a new range appears on the home page without anyone editing it.

Where the content comes from

With Source on Une taxonomie produit (the default), each card is built from a term:

  • the description written in the field reserved for the grid, otherwise the term's own description;
  • the link to the range page if one exists, otherwise the term archive;
  • the term logo;
  • the colour set in Products → Range colours, used for the top rule or the tile fill;
  • the product count, if Afficher le nombre de produits is on.
FieldUseDefault

Categories settings panel
The Content tab: header, source, then design.
Categories filled from the Solutions taxonomy
Nothing typed into the block except the header: titles, links and counts come from the taxonomy.

The nine designs

All nine are shown below with identical content, so the difference is the design and nothing else.

Média and Overlay crop the image to fill the frame. The image field on a term is meant for a logo, often on a transparent background — cropped to a cover, it looks wrong. Keep these two designs for categories that have a genuine photograph, or switch the source to manual entry and supply photos yourself.

Liste ignores Cartes par rangée — its rows are full width by construction.

Sizing the grid

The block does not think in fixed columns but in Cartes par rangée (maximum). With fewer categories than that maximum, the grid tightens and centres instead of stretching two cards across the whole screen; an incomplete last row stays centred too.

The ceiling on a single card's width is Largeur maximale d'une carte, in the Style tab. That is what stops two cards becoming banners on a wide screen: raise it for a wider grid, lower it to tighten.

FieldUseDefault
Afficher la descriptionHide it for a dense grid of many categories. On
Afficher le nombre de produitsAdds "4 products". Singular and plural have separate fields, so one product never reads "1 products".Off
Texte du lien de carteWording of the card link. Left empty, only the arrow shows.
Couleur d'accent des cartesCouleur de la gamme gives each card its own colour; Couleur primaire de la charte gives them all the same one — calmer when the categories have many different colours.Couleur de la gamme

DP – Categories (list, accordion, rail)

dp_category_list

The same data as the block above, in three presentations designed for pages that must stay short. It reads the same taxonomies and offers the same manual mode.

Settings panel of the dp_category_list block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
A second accordion panel opened
The accordion with a second panel opened. The link lives inside the panel, not on the header.

What separates this block from the previous one is that none of the three uses the category colour as a flat fill. It is reduced to a marker — the number on hover for the index, the side bar for the accordion, the top rule for the rail. Six flat colours make a rainbow, not a laboratory. For the same reason the link keeps the brand's primary colour rather than the category colour: a black or pale-yellow category would produce a "View the range" that no longer reads as a link.

FieldUseDefault
Ouvrir la première gammeAccordion only: the first panel starts open, so the block never looks like a dead list.On
Autoriser plusieurs gammes ouvertesAccordion only. Off, opening one closes the previous.Off
Cartes visiblesRail only: how many cards are in view, 1 to 5.4
Afficher le nombre de produitsA category with no products shows nothing rather than "0 products".On
Link textEmpty on Index and Rail leaves only the arrow. The accordion always keeps a button.View the range

The accordion is the only one of the three that needs JavaScript. Its header is a real button and the link sits inside the unfolded panel — putting a link and a toggle on the same element would make the click ambiguous.

DP – Areas of expertise bar

dp_areas_bar

The band of ranges that overlaps the bottom of the hero on the home page.

Settings panel of the dp_areas_bar block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Areas of expertise bar overlapping the hero
On the home page: an intro panel followed by one card per range, riding over the visual above it.

Placement — the part that makes it work

FieldUseDefault
Remonter sur la section précédenteNegative top margin: how far the bar rides over the block above.0
Retrait latéralPulls the bar in from the section width, so it sits narrower than the visual.0
Garder le chevauchement sur mobileOff by default: stacked into one column, the bar would cover half the hero.Off

Two composition details that are not bugs but show immediately if you forget them:

  • Leave bottom padding on the slider above, so its text does not end up under the bar.
  • If the slider's dots sit on the visual, raise their Retrait des puces depuis le bas to at least the overlap height, or they slide under the bar.
The areas bar on a phone
On a phone: the overlap is dropped and the cards stack under the visual.

Content

The Gammes à afficher repeater takes one range per row, chosen from the Ranges taxonomy. Title, description, link and dot colour come from the range; each has an override field for the rare case where the home page needs different wording. The optional intro panel on the left holds a sentence and a link.

dp_quick_links

A row of two to four shortcuts — find your rep, book a session, open the resource library.

Settings panel of the dp_quick_links block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
FieldUseDefault
Entrées par rangée (maximum)Same logic as Categories: with fewer entries the row tightens and centres.3

Afficher les descriptionsOff gives a compact link row.On
Link text (per entry)Empty leaves only the arrow.
Couleur d'accent (per entry)Colours one entry differently — use sparingly.Brand

Espace entre les entrées has no effect on the Bande design: its entries are joined by construction.

DP – Home hero

dp_home_hero

The opening block of a home page or a landing page: a strong photograph, an overline, a title with one highlighted phrase, a paragraph, a button, and a small floating badge over the picture.

FieldUseDefault
Titre principal + Texte mis en avant Type the whole title in the first field, then repeat in the second the words that should take the accent colour. They must match exactly.
Balise du titreLeave on H1 on a home page: it is the page's main heading.H1
Hauteur du blocOn Grand visuel plein cadre this drives the hero height directly.
Largeur du bloc texteFull-visual layout only: how wide the text panel is over the photo.
Chevauchement du panneauHow far the text panel rides over the photo.
Petit badge photoThe floating label on the picture — an argument, a launch, a claim. Leave both fields empty to remove it.
Ajustement de la photoCouverture crops to fill; Contenir shows the whole image with bands. Use Contain for a pack shot, Cover for a photograph.Couverture
Home hero settings panel
The Content tab, first section open.

Text sits over the photograph, so pick an image with a calm area where the words land, and check the result at tablet width — that is where a busy photo starts to fight the title.

DP – Slider

dp_slider

A carousel in four quite different designs. Scrolling is the browser's own, so swipe and trackpad work without any library, and the block stays readable if JavaScript fails.

Settings panel of the dp_slider block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

One slide, one row

Each row of Liste des slides holds an image, a badge, an overline, a title, a text, two buttons, an accent colour, plus Auteur du verbatim and Fonction de l'auteur used by the Quote design. Fields a design does not use are simply ignored — you can keep one set of slides and switch designs to compare.

Navigation

FieldUseDefault
Afficher les flèches / Afficher les pucesArrows and dots are positioned independently: below the slider (left, centre, right) or over the visual. Both on
Style des pucesPoints, Barres or Filets pleine largeur.Points
Afficher le compteurAdds "1 / 4".Off
BouclerAfter the last slide, return to the first. On
Défilement automatique + IntervalleAuto-advance. It pauses on hover and on keyboard focus, and stops for good once the visitor navigates by hand.Off / 6 s

Three things to know about the navigation controls:

  • Placed over the visual, each group reserves a gutter so it never covers the overline, the title or the buttons.
  • The over-the-visual positions rely on the slide height, which only Cover and Split have. Chosen on Cards or Quote, they fall back to sitting below the slider.
  • Below 600 px everything drops into the bar — there is no longer room for a gutter.

Auto-advance is switched off automatically for visitors who have asked their system to limit animations. A single slide removes the dots and the arrows.

DP – Media banner + call to action

dp_media_cta

A visual, an argument, a few key points and one or two buttons — the block for "download the catalog", "book a session", "discover the range".

Settings panel of the dp_media_cta block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
FieldUseDefault

Ajustement du visuelCouverture crops; Contenir shows a pack shot whole.Couverture

Afficher le format et le poidsFile mode only: appends "PDF · 4.2 MB" so the visitor knows what they are clicking. On
Points clésRepeater of short bullets beside the text. Three is plenty.

DP – Range showcase

dp_range_showcase

A two-panel presentation — text on one side, image on the other — for the top of a range page.

Settings panel of the dp_range_showcase block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
FieldUseDefault

Disposition des boutonsOn one line, or stacked.Sur une ligne
Couleur d'accent de gammePicks up a colour defined in the plugin's range settings, so the block matches the range it presents.

DP – Key figures

dp_key_figures

Two to six numbers, counting up as they come into view.

Settings panel of the dp_key_figures block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

One field for the value. Type it exactly as it should read — 70, 40+, 12 000, 2.4 M, ~15. Only the numeric part animates, and the thousands separators you typed are preserved. A value with no digits at all (n/a) is shown as is, without animation.

FieldUseDefault
Chiffres par rangée (maximum)With fewer figures than the maximum, the row tightens and centres.4
Animer le décompteCounts up on entering the screen. Off automatically for visitors who limit animations. On
Label / PrécisionThe line under the number, and an optional second line of detail.

DP – Info cards

dp_info_cards

Three short cards, each an icon, a sentence with one highlighted phrase, and a link. Used under a hero as a reassurance row.

Settings panel of the dp_info_cards block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Each card splits its sentence into three fields — Texte avant la partie colorée, Texte mis en avant, Texte après la partie colorée — so the emphasis lands on the right words without any HTML. A colour chosen on an individual card wins over the palette in both modes.

DP – Pebbles (image + text)

dp_pebbles

Alternating rows of a shaped image and a paragraph — an "about us" or "our values" page.

Settings panel of the dp_pebbles block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

DP – Image + Text + Icon

dp_image_text_icon

A single image tile with a title, a short text and an icon over it, optionally clickable in full. A compact teaser for a grid of two or three.

Settings panel of the dp_image_text_icon block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Image with text and icon overlaid
Text over the image, positioned left, centre or right by Content position.

The Style tab carries a full background control for the veil over the photo — leave it on the brand tint unless the image needs more contrast — plus Minimum height, which is what keeps several tiles in a row the same size. Image fit offers Cover, Contain, Fill and None, with horizontal and vertical framing positions.

DP – Title + Text

dp_section_title

The section heading used throughout the site: a title, an optional rule, and a paragraph.

Settings panel of the dp_section_title block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Section title with divider and paragraph
Title, rule and introduction — the standard opening of a content section.

Use this rather than a plain Elementor heading. It carries the brand's typography and the rule, and it exposes Balise du titre so the page keeps a sensible heading order: one H1 per page, H2 for sections.

The rule is switched by Afficher le filet sous le titre; its colour, thickness and width are in the Style tab, along with the alignment and the gap between title and text.

DP – Blog posts

dp_blog_posts

A list of the latest posts, in two layouts. It reads WordPress posts — nothing to retype.

Settings panel of the dp_blog_posts block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

DP – Featured article

dp_blog_article

A single article, highlighted. Either it follows a real post, or you type everything by hand for a page that has no post behind it.

Settings panel of the dp_blog_article block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Contenu manuelNo post at all: image, badge, date, title and text are all typed in the block.

Even when following a post, every field has an override — Texte de la catégorie (override), Date (override), Titre (override) — so you can adjust the wording for this one placement without touching the post itself.

DP – Events

dp_events

Congresses, webinars and training dates. Three display formats sharing one list of events.

Settings panel of the dp_events block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Each event row holds a Type d'événement tag, a title, a free-text Date / heure, a description, a desktop image and an optional mobile image, plus a button whose colour can be overridden per event.

Mobile has its own layout. Disposition mobile lets a Panorama become an Affiche on a phone, and Hauteur image — mobile caps the image height. Leave the first on Aucun changement unless the desktop layout genuinely breaks down.

The Date / heure field is free text, not a date picker — write it the way it should read (October 14–17, 2026 · Denver, CO). Nothing sorts or expires by itself: past events must be removed by hand.

DP – Content blocks

dp_content_blocks

The same three layouts as Events, for content that is not dated: protocols, handouts, videos, downloads.

Settings panel of the dp_content_blocks block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

The difference with Events is the fields: instead of a date, each row has an Étiquette and an Information complémentaire — typically the format and the weight, PDF · 2 pages.

DP – Video

Image d'aperçu (poster)Shown before playback. For YouTube it is fetched automatically when left empty — which is why the capture above carries a black band: YouTube's automatic thumbnail is 4:3 and the frame is 16:9. Upload your own poster to fill the frame edge to edge.Auto
Format1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 21:9 or 9:16 for a vertical clip.16:9
Lecture automatiqueBrowsers generally require Muted as well for autoplay to work.Off

The block shows a poster image and only loads the player when the visitor clicks play, so a page carrying several videos stays fast and nobody is tracked before they choose to watch. Switching on Lecture automatique gives that up — the player is then embedded on page load, as it has to be.

DP – Buttons with lists

dp_select_pills

A row of buttons; clicking one reveals its own panel of content and downloadable files. Useful for "by species", "by indication", "by presentation".

Settings panel of the dp_select_pills block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Each row of Choix is one button. It holds an intro sentence, a rich-text list, an internal layout (Une colonne or Deux colonnes) and up to ten files. Set Nombre de fichiers first — the file fields appear as you raise it.

Each file has a Réservé aux vétérinaires switch. Turned on, the PDF is served only to verified veterinary accounts — including anyone who tries the file URL directly.

DP – Team and KOL

dp_team

The people page: leadership, technical veterinarians and key opinion leaders, each with a photo, a short bio and a longer one that unfolds.

Settings panel of the dp_team block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Team block with two groups
Members are grouped by the Groupe field — everyone sharing a wording lands in the same section.
A full biography unfolded
Read bio unfolds the long biography in place, without leaving the page.
FieldUseDefault
GroupeThe section heading. Type the same wording on every member who belongs together — that is what groups them.
Headings credentialsPost-nominals: DVM, DVM, DACVO.
Bio courte / Bio complèteThe short one is always visible; the long one appears behind Read bio. Leave the long one empty and no button is shown.
Forme des photosRonde, Carré arrondi or Carré, for the whole block.Ronde
Afficher les titres de groupeOff gives one flat list.On

Photos are cropped to fill their frame, anchored to the top of the image — so a portrait with the face in the upper half survives the crop; one with the face low in the frame gets cut. A member with no photo shows their initials instead, which is a perfectly acceptable placeholder.

DP – Contact cards

dp_contact_cards

The territory manager finder: cards for each contact, and a ZIP code search that narrows them to the right person.

Settings panel of the dp_contact_cards block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

The contacts themselves are not in this block. They are records in the Contacts menu, each with an email, a phone number, an optional WhatsApp number and a list of ZIP codes — one per line. The block only decides which ones to display and how.

FieldUseDefault
RegionLimits the block to one region. Empty shows all regions. All regions
Activer la recherche par code postalAdds the search field. Its label, placeholder, help text and Clear button all have their own wording fields. On
Afficher le badge « secteur proche »When a ZIP code is not listed for anyone, the nearest contact is still offered, with a badge explaining why.On
Show postal codesLists the covered ZIP codes on the card.On
Forme de la photo / AjustementRound or square, with an object-fit and nine framing positions in the Style tab.Ronde / Cover

ZIP codes can be entered as a prefix: 900 matches every code starting with those three digits, so a territory is described in a few lines rather than hundreds.

DP – Where to find us

dp_find_us

The company address block: postal address, phone, opening hours, pharmacovigilance contact and a map.

Settings panel of the dp_find_us block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Layout is in the Style tab for this block, not in Content.

Phone, opening hours and the pharmacovigilance notice each have their own switch, so a subsidiary that does not publish one of them simply turns it off. The map is generated from Adresse pour la carte; paste a Google Maps iframe src into URL d'intégration personnalisée only if you need a specific view.

DP – Distributors

dp_distributors

The public directory of distributors, fed by the same central registry the Order Now block uses.

Settings panel of the dp_distributors block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
US authorized veterinary distributors directory
The US authorized veterinary distributors page.

Nothing is typed into the block except the title, the description, the link wording and an optional footnote: each distributor's name, logo, website and contact details come from Products → Distributors. Afficher e-mail et téléphone decides whether contact details are published.

DP – Form

dp_form

A contact form built field by field, with GDPR consent and an optional newsletter opt-in.

Settings panel of the dp_form block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
A two-column contact form
Two columns, with per-field widths and a consent checkbox.

Building the fields

Each row of Fields is one field:

Field propertyUse
TypeTitle (group), Separator, Text, Email, Phone, Textarea, Checkboxes, Radio buttons, Dropdown, Multi-select, or File (PDF, max 10 MB).
LabelWhat the visitor reads.
Technical name (slug)Lower-case, no spaces — firstname, email. It labels the value in the email you receive, so keep it meaningful.
OptionsFor lists: one per line, written value|Label.
Width33%, 50% or 100% — how the field sits in the grid.
Rattacher à la NewsletterMaps this field to a subscriber property (email, first name, practice, postal code…) so an opt-in arrives complete rather than as a bare address.
SettingUseDefault
Recipient(s)Where submissions are sent. Several addresses separated by commas.
Field to use for Reply-ToPut the technical name of the email field here — then replying to the notification replies to the visitor.
Columns1 or 2. Field widths still apply within them.2
Data processing (GDPR)The consent checkbox, its wording and a link to the privacy policy.Off
Inscription obligatoireMakes the newsletter opt-in mandatory. Leave this off — a newsletter opt-in should stay optional.Off

DP – Newsletter

dp_newsletter

A sign-up block in four designs, from a discreet inline bar to a full photographic banner.

Settings panel of the dp_newsletter block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
FieldUseDefault
Show the First name fieldTwo fields instead of one. Ask for a first name only if it will actually be used.Off
Source (internal label)Never shown to visitors: it appears next to each subscriber so you know which block they came from. Give each placement a distinct label.Newsletter block
Success messageReplaces the form once the sign-up is recorded.Thank you!…
Enable the consent checkboxOn by default here, and it should stay on.On

Subscribers are listed and exportable from the Newsletter menu in the admin.

DP – Vet Vault login

dp_vet_login

Sign-in and account request for veterinary professionals, in three layouts for three different placements.

Settings panel of the dp_vet_login block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
The account request tab
The Create an account tab: name, clinic, licence number, state and phone, so credentials can be verified.
FieldUseDefault
Arguments (un par ligne)Page de connexion layout only: the list shown in the left column.Four lines
Destination après connexionWhere the visitor lands after signing in. A restricted page they asked for first still wins.
Lien « Entrer dans le Vet Vault »Shown to visitors who are already signed in and approved.
« Se souvenir de moi » coché par défautKeeps the session open on the device. On
Afficher l'inscriptionOff leaves sign-in only, for a site where accounts are created by the team.On

New accounts are not active immediately: a request is reviewed and approved from the Users screen, and the veterinarian is emailed when access opens. Until then they see the pending message, whose wording is in Libellés → Message en attente.

DP – Resource library

dp_resource_hub

The Vet Vault library: documents, videos, links and tools, filterable by category, searchable, and lockable per item.

Settings panel of the dp_resource_hub block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Resource library with category filters
Filters are built from the Catégorie written on each resource — reuse exactly the same wording to group them.
Resources filtered by category
Filtering happens in the browser, with no page reload.
Per resourceUse
TypeDocument, Vidéo, Link or Outil. It sets the badge and the default button wording.
Fichier PDF / LinkA file from the media library, or an external URL. A resource with neither shows as Coming soon.
Réservé aux vétérinairesMarks it Vet only. The PDF is then served only to approved veterinary accounts — direct access to the file URL is refused too.
Information complémentaireThe small line under the title: PDF, 2 min, Interactive.

The lock is real, not cosmetic. A resource marked Vet only stays protected even if someone shares the direct link to the PDF. That is the reason to use this block rather than a list of ordinary media links.

DP – Continuing education

dp_ce_courses

A course catalog with two filter axes — topic and format — plus duration, RACE credits and presenter on every card.

Settings panel of the dp_ce_courses block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.
Continuing education catalog
Courses with topic and format filters, a search field and a live count.
Courses filtered by topic
Filtered on one topic.

Each course row carries a Thème and a Format — both free text that become the two filter rows, so reuse the exact same wording across courses — plus a visual, a summary, the presenter, the duration, the credits, a comma-separated species list, a link and a corner badge.

A course with no link shows the Bouton cours à venir wording (Coming soon) instead of a dead button — that is how you announce a session before registration opens.

DP – Questionnaire

dp_questionnaire

A training questionnaire: optional video, participant details, questions, a pass mark, a certificate and an email of the results. The most configurable block of the set.

Settings panel of the dp_questionnaire block
The Content tab as it opens: the first section unfolded, the others listed below it.

Writing the questions

Each row of List of questions holds the question, an Answer type (Single or Multiple correct answers), and the answers one per line. Mark every correct answer with a leading asterisk:

Superficial fluorescein uptake
*Visible stromal loss with a defined edge
Mild conjunctival hyperaemia

The sections, in order

SectionWhat it controls
Training videoForm only, Video first, form hidden, or Video + form together. With Limit the number of attempts, a participant who fails too often must watch the video again before retrying.
IntroductionTitle, introductory text and the wording of the Start button.
Participant informationA switch per field — first name, last name, email, practice, postal code, city — each with its own Required. Extra fields can be added.
QuestionsThe list, the progress bar, and the Submit / Next / Previous wording.
Result & validationThe pass percentage, whether the score is shown, and the success and failure messages.
CertificateAutomatic — displayed and printable on the spot — or Manual, where the participant is told it will follow by email.
Downloadable PDF certificatePrints the details onto your own PDF template. Each field is placed by page, X/Y in millimetres and alignment.
Sending results by emailWhere the answers and the participant's details are sent.

Placing the PDF fields. Switch on Calibration mode and download one certificate: the PDF comes out with a millimetre grid printed over it, so you can read off the X and Y of every text. Switch it off once the placement is right.

Choosing between blocks that look alike

If you need…Use
A full product listing with filtersProduct catalog — the facet column scales. Keep Product grid for short embedded lists.
A grid of ranges on a home pageCategories. If the page is getting long, Categories (list, accordion, rail) instead.
Dated itemsEvents. For undated ones, Content blocks — same three layouts, different fields.
A downloadable documentMedia banner + CTA for one prominent file; Resource library for a collection, especially if some items are vet-only.
A section headingTitle + Text, not a plain Elementor heading — it carries the brand typography and the rule.

Habits worth keeping

Domes Pharma Elementor blocks — user guide. Screenshots captured from the site itself; they will match what you see in the editor as long as the plugin version matches.
